Help: Email My Password

If you have forgotten your password and you have previously registered your email address using our Update Information feature, you can have your password sent to you by Email. If you did not provide an Email address, you will need to use one of the other facilities to gain access to your account.

You will be requested to provide the following information:

  1. Organization Code: Each institution that ECSI services is assigned a unique two or three character identifier. Please note that this website is intended only for borrowers whose loans are held by the Department of Education. If you have student loans that are not with the Department of Education, you will need to access a separate website with a separate login name and password.
  2. Account Number: An 8-digit number associated with your account. You will also find your account number on documentation and billing statements received from ECSI.

After entering your information, click the Submit button once ("double-clicking" the Submit button may cause multiple Emails to be sent). If all information provided is valid and we have an Email address on file, you are presented with a message stating that the password was sent. If the information you provided cannot be validated or there is no Email address on file, an error message is presented indicating what is incorrect.
